Anyone under the age of 18 is welcome to volunteer for Cedar Valley Pridefest with a parent's consent. However, to serve alcohol, sell beer tickets or merchandise, we require volunteers to be over the age of 21.

Attending Pridefest:
Remember, as a volunteer you get into Pridefest for FREE with your shift. You can attend the festival early or after your shift. You will get a wristband when you enter at the Jefferson Gates. Just let them know you're a volunteer.

Checking In:
When it's time for your shift, check in at the Information Booth located at the Jefferson Gate. From there, the Information Staff will give you a volunteer badge and direct you where you need to go. Once you check in at your Volunteer Location, the station lead and previous volunteers will show you the ropes. Don't worry, it won't be too hard — and most of all, it will be fun!

If It Rains - Pride Will Go On:
Although it won't rain on us, in the event that it does. Cedar Valley Pridefest will go on! We have a rain location set right under the Highway 218 overpass. So please SHOW UP! We will still need your help, probably especially then!

As you can imagine, tearing down the event is a big under taking. We would appreciate anyone who is willing to help tear down the event (which generally includes moving things in off the street and taking down fencing) to meet at the Information Booth at 12:00 midnight. 30 minutes of your time would really help us out!

If you have questions on your volunteer schedule, location, etc. Please email us at cedarvalleypridefest@gmail.com. Please note that we have made every effort to accommodate volunteer station and work partners. If you gave us the option to put you in a couple different places, this assignment reflects the greatest need for your time.
